Gilbert Harold Wright was born 11 December 1919. He was born in
Mozambique;

He joined the RAF in WW2 and was shot down and killed in June 1944 over Renne in northern France. I'm trying to trace anyone who is related or knows anything about him. While born in Mozambique he gave his address as Mauritius when he joined up

i'm looking for information on anyone with the last name serrao from madeira, portugal who immigrated to africa. my grandmother's brother, abel pereira serrao, supposedly immigrated to transvaal, south africa to work in the gold mines. unsure when, but probably sometime around 1910. there may have been another brother named either antonio (antone?) pereira serrao or manuel pereira serrao who immigrated to either angola, transvaal or mozambique. i would appreciate any information that i get. thank you

Most of my aunts and uncles were born in Chinde (a British Concession at the time) I acquired birth certificates through the British site - http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

If your grandparents were born in Portugal you will be able to get certificates from Portugal. You migh also be able to get certificates on their children if they returned back after 1975.

Please contact the British Embassy in Maputo, Mozambique. They keep info on all the British subjects that either were born or died there. For a nominal fee you might be able to get birth and death certificates for the people you are looking for.

Hi, looking for any information on Vivian Roy John Roberts and his wife Doris Lloyd?? Born abt 1898 died 1940. Had children born in Lourenco Marques and I think died there, can't track him down can any one help?

Hi - my Great Uncle's name was Joseph Goncalves...i never knew if it was w/a Z or C before, but when i saw Portugal, i thought this may be it. His family was from Cape Verde, however and came to New Bedford. I dont know his dad's first name, b/c he is my Nana's 1/2 brother, but they had the same mother - Joquinta Geboa Goncalves (Gonzalves)
