just stumbled upon this message board and found it very interesting . My name is David Isaac Barocas and live in glendale, az. Read the long history and didnt recognize any names that i am familiar with in my family tree, but that is not saying much. Anyway i have heard my family came here from Turkey, the town i am not sure of, but i know they came through ellis island as Cohen. Just thought i would chime in since i have never met to many Baroci other then my immediate family. (Baroci meting multiple Barocas, my own creation.) Very interesting stuff though thanks for posting it.
