I'm seeking records in Fez that could tell me more about my son's great-great grandfather. His name was French & I know he had African blood because I've met his youngest daughter and she appeared African. He emigrated to the USA (?date/age) married an Englishwoman (?name) in NYC (?date) and had 9 children. I don't know when or how he got to the US, what port he left from & where his ship docked in US..

The reason there is so little info on him is because he murdered his wife in 1900 or 1901 when my son's great grandmother (the youngest child of the 9) was a baby. He went to prison, and all 9 children were placed in orphanages. So the Family Tree is very stuck here & I cannot tell my son what his genealogy is.

I would greatly appreciate any info/advice on how I can trace Moroccan genealogy & learn more about any L'ORANGE's there.
