I'm looking for details of Benaim family (Abraham b. 1835 and Jamilla Coriat b. 1839) from Tetuan, they moved with their 7 kids (Shalom, David, Shmuel, Clara, Esther, Sara and Miriam) to Casablanca Rue de l'oise. does anyone knows details?

It sounds like they were Jewish, yes? Have you tried some of the Jewish/African genealogy websites? When I did a basic Internet search for "Genealogy Morocco Africa" a bunch of sites popped up.

I don't know if you will even get this. But I think I have some info for you. I believe my grandfather is Shmuel (Samuel). He came to the US as a teenager to Chicago, IL. I am not completely certain this is him, but I vaguely recall hearing about Clara which you mentioned as well.

I do not know anything at all about this side of my family (my father is Robert - Samuel's son) so if you were able to find more, I would love to find out. My father doesn't know very much, but I am going to see if this info rings a bell with him.

i'm talking about Samuel Benaim, who was born in 1895 in Tetuan Morocco, moved to Casablanca, than moved to Paris and died there in 1976. he maried Esther Maman. they had 5 children, and i think they're al live in france.
so if it tells you something, i have more details of all.
