Hello. The Madagascar group in Washington, D.C. was called together by Wendy Wilson Fall and Emmanuel Tehindrazanarivelo (from Madagascar) as a first event of people from Madagascar and people of Madagascar origin to talk about their common history. It was held at the Library of Congress in September of last year. This year, I will be giving a talk at the African American Genealogical Society conference in Washington on September 26th. We may not have any other meeting than that, but next year hopefully we will meet again.
