Looking for anyone with Thompson ancestors that came from Fogo Island. My ancestor Peter Thompson was born abt 1818-1822 and came from Fogo in the Cape Verde Islands. Am unsure whether he changed his name before emigrating to Australia. Would love to hear from anybody that has a Thompson ancestor from Fogo, or anyone that lives there.
