The Message Board is an extension of the Surname email list hosted at Rootsweb.com and vice versa, each serving a separate purpose towards the same goal. The aim of the message board is to give one more place/way for researchers to share both information and documents and find those same things. This is the place to post all those documents such as bible records, biographies, birth records, cemetery records, census records, birth records, deeds, immigration records, lookup requests, marriage records, military records, obituaries, pensions and wills. It is also the place to put web queries. Please remember when posting to this board that only original, non-copyrighted, copyright-expired or copyright privilege granted (and noted) items may be posted. When in doubt, please either email the board admin, or don't post. Also, when posting records or lookup requests, please use the category function of the posting to indicate what type of record or request your message is. If it is not a record or lookup request, please leave the category blank. Your post must be of the same spelling of the surname as the board surname. This also applies to any replies to messages already left. Direct advertising or malicious wording is not acceptable.
