This message board and it's mailing list are for the discussion of genealogy and history regarding the LINGER surname. Discussion of migration patterns, immigration, historical sketches, census data, wills, family Bibles, vital records, web sites, etc, as relates to LINGER families is encouraged. GIF and JPG files of early records and photos may be uploaded to the message board but can not be attached to posts sent to the mailing list.

While I have a general interest in all North American LINGER family trees, I am particularly interested in the early LINGER family lines that settled in what is now Upshur Co. WV.
Needless to say though, posts concerning any LINGER family line will be welcomed here.
