Where is MUSSELLBURGH, please? I have a Cameron scenario of the 26th of Foots Cameronian Regiment. Part of it is a Charles Cameron being born in Inverness-shire, Scotland in 1783. the other part is a James Cameron who enlisted in Pennsylvania as a Loyalist in the 26th of Foot in 1777. He subsequently was posted to Britain to recruit. I have all that history by a researcher. At some time he is in Mussellburgh and absent without leave. It would make a great novel!Later one realizes this is May 1783 and Charles birth date. How Can I find if and where there was a baptism. A posting to Ireland and an eventual return to N. America,(Quebec) . Any advice about place of Baptism ?
