Hello, I am interested in discovering more about William Rodd who was born in South Cheriton, Somerset, England in 1813. He married Ann Hillier on the 17 August 1833 and had four children between 1837 - 1845. However, some time between 1861 and 1871 he seems to have left his wife and gone to live in Utah, USA. In 1881, back in England, his wife, didn't know whether William was dead or alive and on the 1881 UK census stated that her marital condition was unknown because her husband had been gone for some time - he was a Mormonite. William Rodd was my 3xgreat uncle and I would like to know when he arrived in the USA and more about his life. Does anyone have details of him on the 1870, 1880 and 1890 US censuses? I know he died in 1892 and that he is buried in the Washington County Cemetery in Utah. Any help would be appreciated.
