Hi all Trying to trace back on my paternal grandmothers side. I'm back to John McBean who married Jeannie? McKay in Dalkeith in 1852 but that's where I hit the dreaded brick wall. I'd be grateful if anyone has any further info on John. Can supply my line of descent from John.
