The following obit is here with permission of the Bradford County Telegraph, in Bradford County, Fla. Ted Edwards GREEN COVE SPRINGS-Ted W. Edwards, 67, of Green Cove Springs, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, following an extended illness. Born in Bradford County, Mr. Edwards served four years in the U.S. Air Force, and retired in 1992 from Florida Air National Guard 125th with the rank of Sr. Master Sgt., serving 34 years. Mr. Edwards is survived by: his wife of 19 years Rachel Edwards; a daughter Kathryn Collier of Petersburg, Ky.; two sons, David Wayne Edwards and Randy Glenn Edwards, both of Jacksonville; a brother Curtis Edwards of Starke; a sister Ruth Edwards Rich of League City, Texas and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Darrell Edwards, his parents Guy and Elva Lee Edwards and a son, Guy Curtis Edwards. Funeral services for Mr. Edwards were Jan. 5, 2004, in the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Starke with interment following in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Green Cove Springs. Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Edwards.
