It seems by the messages that the Bowhays came from this area. I am researching my husband's side and I have a nicholas bowhay born Blackhawton 1794 or thereabouts. Married Ann - no idea of maiden name. They had at least 7 children - 4 born in blackhawton and the rest in Carleton?? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
