| I understand you are looking for information about Chief Chulio Shooboots wives. Well, my 4th greataunt, Clarinda Allington/Ellington, was married to Shoeboots. Shoeboots captured her from a place called Morgan's Station, in Kentucky, at the age of 11 years. She bore him three children: 1. John, also called Cherokee John, who was next in line to the offic of Chief and all of Tuscoringo's Shoeboots property. Clarinda left Shoeboots, and unfortunatly, the Allington/Ellington's would not allow him to go back to the indian tribe. 2. Sally, she married a very handsome man, moved away from the Ellington's and started a tanning business on the Big Sandy. 3. William, had a very wolfish personality. After setting the dogs on his cousin, for no reason, his unlce tied him up for a day, beating him at different intervels. William was later bonded to Colonel Thomas Owingal, who used him to work in the blacksmith buisness, and coal/coke furnaces. William away before his time was out. |
