From the newspaper: THE VINITA LEADER, Craig Co., OK 1-16-1908 Adair Jim Elliott and Cleve Johnson had a case before Squire Wiley’s court Monday over a stock field. The decision was in favor of Elliott. 5-13-1909 Adair William Sexton and Miss Jennie McCloud were married in this city by Justice Wiley. 5-30-1912 Spavinaw Mrs. Peatree visited her daughter, Mrs. Wyley Sunday. 1-16-1913 Spavinaw Thomas Wiley and his partner Robert Thompson were talking this week about their electric car line, and Mr. Wiley is a very thoughtful man in business, and he said that a large swinging wire bridge across Grand river would be one of the finest things of the car line and he believed it would be much cheaper. I think Mr. Wiley is in his right mind. He is letting the car line out on two thousand dollar shares. We are all booming Mr. Wiley – our village is very proud of him. 5-29-1913 Wauhillau Judge Wiley of Adair died Thursday after a long illness.
