I now have evidence that William Perry married Charity Dean (William and Charity Perry of the 1850 Ashe census) was the son of Ebenezer Perry SR of Guilford County and brother of Ebenezer Perry JR. (married Ann Watson) of Stokes and Forsyth County NC. Wyatt Perry married Charity Perry (of the 1850 Ashe census) was William's son. Others of this line settled in Tazewell VA, Dekalb Illinois, and Jones and Linn county Iowa, and Perry County KY. The David Ira Perry family of Alleghany is also descended from this line.
