LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois Co. MO, Wed. Sept. 6, 1967 LORA (STAFFORD) CAMDEN Mrs. Lora Camden formerly of Elvins, died August 29 in Cahokia, Ill. She was born Oct. 9, 1889 in Boss, Mo., the daughter of the late Lafayette Stafford and Sarah Goggins Stafford. Surviving are ten children: Eva Hanson of Elvins; Lewis Camden of Cahokia, Ill.; Lillian McCloskey of Springfield, Mo.; Edna Pollard of Cahokia, Ill.; Beverly Camden of Cahokia, Ill.; Edward Camden of Cahokia, Ill.; Hazel Waldron of Rolla; Helen Walker of Sacramento, Calif.; Kenneth Camden of Cahokia, Ill.; and Virginia Diaz of Alameda, Calif. Also surviving is one brother Monte Stafford of Bixby; two sisters, Mrs. Verna Hogan of DeSoto, and Mrs. Mable Christian of Elvins; also 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Murphy Sparks Chapel, with the Rev. V. R. Ledbetter officiating. Interment was in the Boss Cemetery in Boss, Mo., under the direction of the Murphy Sparks Funeral Home.
