LEAD BELT NEWS, Flat River, St. Francois Co. MO, Fri. Feb. 10, 1956 LEVI CAMDEN Levi Camden passed away at his home in Elvins, Wednesday, February 8, 1956. He was born at Boss, Mo., June 3, 1882, a son of the late Milton and Amanda Goforth Camden, and at the time of death was aged 73 years 8 months 5 days. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Stafford Camden; four sons, Louis and Edward Camden, East St. Louis, Ill.; Beverly Camden, Cahokia, Ill.; and Kenneth Camden, serving in the United States Navy; six daughters, Mrs. Eva Hanson, Elvins; Mrs. Lillian Freeman, Banner, Mo.; Mrs. Edna Pollard, East St. Louis, Ill.; Mrs. Hazel Waldron, Rolla, Mo.; Mrs. Helen Walker, Decatur, Ill.; and Mrs. Virginia Ramirez of the state of California. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five brothers, Mack, Frank and Noah Camden of St. Louis; Ben Camden of Elvins; and Wm. Camden, Boss, Mo.; besides other relatives and friends. The body is in state at the Murphy Sparks Funeral Home in Flat River, and will be taken at 12 o'clock noon, Sunday, February 12, to the church at Boss, Mo. Funeral services at 2 p.m. will be conducted by the Rev. V. R. Ledbetter, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Iron Mountain. Burial will be in the Boss cemetery.
