I am looking for information on the following families who lived in Gretna, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana in the mid to late 1800's:
Michael Laque md Katharina Fischer in Gretna in 1859. They had 6 children and lived in Gretna until 1880. Their youngest son, Henry Laque married Catherine Elizabeth Stone who was the daughter of Benjamin Reuben Stone and Jacobina Gegenheimer, both of Gretna, Jefferson Parish. Ben was the son of Michael? Stone and Ann Shannon. He may have had a brother named William. Ann's first husband was John Langridge and through that marriage had many children, including William L. Langridge. Ann's sister, Catherine Shannon married John R. Cochrane and also lived in Gretna. Jacobina Gegenheimer was the daughter of Philip Gegenheimer and Catherine Steinbacher who owned the Railroad Bakery on Lafayette Ave. in Gretna in the 1870's/1880's.
Katharina Fischer is believed to have been related (a sister?) to Charles Frederick Fisher who married Magdalena Fleckinger. Their descendents include the Wilty family of Gretna.
Any help on any of these families would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Linda G. Robin
