| Hazel Hanks daughter of Charles C. Hanks and Drusilla in in the 1900 census in Maroa, Macon county Illinois. She is 11. Born Dec 1888. Mother Drusilla has had only one child. all born in Illinois. parents married 12 years. ------------- 1910 they are in Maroa, Macon county. Hazel is now 21. No address on census ------------------- 1920 census they are in Maroa, Macon county. Hazel is now 30. He is still a farmer. Neither woman working outside the home. ----------- In the 1930 census Hazel is 41 is still in Macon with her mother Drusilla who is now a widow at age 61. Roomer with them is Lola Riber a book-keeper at a laundry. They live at 306 south McClelland St. in Decatur in Macon county. --- I think this Charles Hanks is the one who married LIzzie Newhouse in Macon county,Illinois jan 29thof 1880. ---------------- |
