I am researching Bula Winford Slappey/Slappy who was the daughter of John Alexander Slappey & Mary Jane Dupree. Bula married Jeremiah Carr in Worth County, GA. I read one of the postings which said there are quite a few of the Slappey's still living in Georgia and Alabama. Bula was born in Feb 1876. She and Jeremiah had two children that I know of (might be more); they were: Willie Vileta Carr and Benton Carr. Does anyone know anything else about Jeremiah & Bula? I did find them in the 1900 Pike County, Alabama census but after that I can't find anything on them. I didn't know if they might have returned to Worth County or that area. Thanks in advance for any help!
