I am looking for information on the Meyer family from Narp, Germany. My 2nd great grandfather, Herman Heinrich Meyer, and his brother, Johann Herman Meyer immigrated from there to the US around 1848-1850. Johann Herman was born on Jan. 18, 1818 and was married to a woman with a surname of Englemeyer. She died after 6 months of marriage. Herman Heinrich was born in 1822. As far as I know he was not married in Germany. They belonged to a reformed church in the US. I am hoping to find the church in Germany that they attended in order to get further information.
