The only items you and I have in common is the last name Betancourt and Camaguey province, which used to be known as Puerto Principe in colonial days. According to "Cuba: Isla Abierta", written by Levi Marrero, the Betancourt surname entered Cuba through Puerto Principe in the seventeenth century. That's all I have. Regards, Jorge
