Can anyone give me pointers on where to look next please? I've found my uncle sailing from UK to Australia in 1948, he married in Scotland 1958, then he is back in Australia by 1968 on the electoral roll. I have searched passenger lists and cannot find him returning to the UK between 1948/58
Although I am unsure if he went anywhere else during those 10 years, I have also searched all UK incoming passengers up to 1960 from anywhere with no results
Is it simply a case of Ancestry records being incomplete or am I missing a field to search? Uncles name Thomas Millar Arneil Bayne, and I've tried all sorts of searches.... full name, exact, initials, soundex etc
I appreciate the years I'm looking at are relatively modern in the world of us 'genies', but Ancestry claims to have these years on record but so far I'm paying a world wide subscription to do little more than browse, so any help is much appreciated
