Hello ,
Does anyone know if there was a ship under the name Dublin around 1820 in Dublin Ireland.
I have been trying to find my g, grandfathers birth without success. His name is William Clark b abt 1820 Dublin .
His father also William was in the army he fought in the Napolian wars, met his wife and married in England. The army then travelled to Ireland where my G,gandfather was born . The army then went to Canada they had 2 more childrenthere whom i have found. But i cannot find William,s birth in Ireland.
Someone told me there was a ship called Dublin where the army people stayed during thier time in Ireland. How true this is i do not know? but if it is how do i find info about the ship?
thanking you for your time and patience in advance.
