Hello there,

I'm trying to find a family who, according to the naturalization declaration for one of them (the only solid info I have) traveled from Hamburg to New York in 1891. I know they were in the US by January 1892 (a child was born in Philadelphia). But the info provided says they arrived on the Dutchess, which is not a ship I've found. The surname is Segal, and I've tried every variation and wild card search that comes to mind. I've tried to search the Hamburg passenger list index day by day (that was exhausting), and finally had to finally stop.

Short of hiring someone to do the same thing, any guidance on how to fine-tune the search?

Many thanks for any kind guidance!
