Wisconsin has state-wide, one-stop shopping for vital records. This comes in handy if you're not sure of the exact location in Wisconsin the event took place. Go here: http://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/vitalrecords/.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, it seems there's enough data from the marriage transcription on familysearch.org (and posted by me above) to research further back. What is the birth certificate going to tell you that you don't already know?

Variations in given and surnames should be expected. It happens with all immigrants. Try searching by wildcarding the name, R*l*r, K*l*r. You can learn about how to use wildcarding by reading in the help section.

It also helps to search siblings with less common given names.

This is the family correct? These census are Ancestry.com transcriptions.

***There's a good deal of important and useful data in the 1900 Census. Note that the mother has had 7 children and all surviving at this date. There are only 4 listed in the household, that means 3 are out of the household already.
Both parents born in Denmark, married for 26 years, implies abt 1874.

Note the immigration year of both parents, 1872, and the 1st papers (PA) for naturalization have been submitted. This is all anecdotal, according to what was told to the census taker, but good data to guide further back.
