According to info on familysearch.org, there was also a birth of a son born on January 10 1868 in Brooklyn to Bostic Adams and Louisa Everden. So she was alive then and possibly she is the Louisa Adams, born in England who died August 2, 1868 and was buried on the 4th in Evergreen cemetery. Maybe you might check the cemetery and see if anybody else is buried with her.
Bostic married Mariah Louisa Patterson in Brookly on September 6, 1869 and had children with her born in Brooklyn in 1872 and 1878.
On April 13, 1944 a Mary Wear age 79 died in Brooklyn and her father was listed as Bostick Adams. Possibly this is one of the missing daughter.
Good luck.
